1. Introduction
Welcome to Milk & Balm (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website https://milkandbalm.com and all purchases made through it. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to comply with these terms. If you disagree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Orders & Payment
- Order Acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to cancel orders for reasons including stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
- Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit cards, EFT, and other methods listed at checkout. All prices are in ZAR (South African Rand).
- Pricing: Prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude shipping. We may update prices periodically.
3. Shipping Policy
- Delivery Time: Orders are processed within 1-2 working days and typically arrive in 1-5 working days (excluding weekends/public holidays). Delays due to couriers or unforeseen circumstances are not our responsibility.
- Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout. Non-refundable unless the product is faulty.
- Tracking: You will receive tracking details via email once your order ships.
4. Returns & Refunds
- Eligibility:
- Return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order number/invoice) is required.
- Process:
- Email info@milkandbalm.com with your order number and reason for return.
- We will approve/deny the request and provide return instructions.
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility. We recommend insured tracking.
- Refunds:
- Issued to the original payment method within 7-10 working days of receiving the returned item.
- Sale items are final unless defective.
5. Liability & Product Warranty
- Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for indirect damages (e.g., loss of profits). Liability is capped at the product’s purchase price.
- Product Use: Skincare products are for external use only. Patch-test before full application. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. We are not liable for misuse or allergic reactions, customers are responsible for checking allergens.
- No Warranty: Products are sold “as is” with no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee results from product use.
6. Privacy
Your data is processed in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We use your information to process orders and improve services.
7. Intellectual Property
All content (logos, text, images) on our website is owned by Milk & Balm. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
8. Account Termination
We may suspend/terminate accounts for:
- Breach of these terms.
- Fraudulent activity.
- Inactivity beyond 12 months.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays/cancellations due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters).
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by South African law. Disputes will be resolved in courts within South Africa.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
